Winter Uniform

• White polo shirt* or white shirt and tie* (if ties are worn the children should be able to tie them without assistance)
• Navy sweatshirt with school logo* or navy sweater or cardigan
• Grey trousers (boys), navy trousers or skirt (girls)
• Black shoes (no trainers please)
• Grey socks or navy or black tights for girls

Summer (optional)

• Dark blue or red chequered dress for girls
• White polo shirts*
• Black or navy blue sandals
• Caps* or sunhats in hot weather
• Matching jogging bottoms* may be worn with the sweatshirts

PE Kit

• Navy blue shorts*
• Red T-shirt*
• Black pumps (not trainers)

PE Kit should be kept in a PE bag* on the child's peg in the cloakroom. For indoor PE activities the PE kit is optional. Young children are usually happy to do PE lessons in their underwear but may wear T-shirts and shorts if preferred. They also do indoor lessons in bare feet unless they have an infection, in which case they should wear pumps.

*Items marked with an asterisk can be ordered from the school before the beginning of the school year with a further order part way through the year. A small stock is also kept in school and items are available for purchase from the school office on Wednesday mornings from 9 to 9.30 a.m. only. Book bags may be purchased at the same time. If this time is inconvenient please complete the appropriate order form, available from the school office and return it with the money to Mrs Nickalls.

Please make sure that all your child's clothing, including shoes, has fastenings that she or he can manage independently.

NB School shoes must be worn. On no account should children wear shoes or sandals with high heels as these are dangerous.

Jewellery, except for studs in case of pierced ears, also should not be worn. It can be dangerous and is easily lost.

All items of clothing and other personal belongings should be clearly marked with your child's name.
